Citadel was selected by the Department of General Services to install a sidewalk canopy at the CCNV and Federal City Shelter, 425 2nd Street NW, Washington, DC. The canopy is designed to protect pedestrians from hazards caused by facade deterioration. After securing the bid, Citadel engaged a permit expeditor for a traffic control plan and applied for public space and structural permits. Fabrication of the canopy components and on-site assembly are underway. The project exceeded expectations, finishing before its deadline with remarkable quality.
